Exactly what I needed to replace my twist style shifters. Much easier and faster when changing gears. Had to do some minor adjustments on the derailleur and they work perfect for now. Only riden twice with them on.

Converted my hybrid to drop bar and these shifter/brake was a perfect replacement for the old twist shifters. Just make sure you also buy the brake cables (for road bike) since these only came with the shifter cables. Smooth shifting and solid braking. Great price, too!

This microNEW rear derailleur was the perfect replacement for the original on my older PEX bicycle. It takes a little knowhow and the right tools to install and adjust, setting the stops and centering on the gear cassette, and there is always the chance you will have to install a new cable if the old one becomes frayed. It also helps to have a bicycle work stand during the adjustment process. But when properly installed and set up, it works perfectly.

This derailleur actually works better than the Sram X-5 that it replaced. I was very happy to have my 3X9 back when I installed this. The chain cage is actually a little wider than the X-5 and so it was quieter running is most cases. I would buy another one if I had to.
